Welcome to the online Praat manual!
This tutorial will walk you through the installation and the most important basic functions of Praat, the global open-source standard software for phonetic analysis.
Tutorial videos illustrate the steps described in the text.
Be aware that this is just a short overview. Praat is a very powerful tool with lots of functions that are beyond the scope of this introduction.
Also, this tutorial is an ongoing project, so feedback on how it could be improved and enlarged is warmly welcome.
