Module by Edith Drieskens, Leuven University

This webinar deals with the EU and the reform of the UNSC. It focuses on the role and membership of the UNSC and addresses the prospects for change both within the UN and EU. Four questions are answered: What is the role of the UN Security Council in world politics? Who are the members of the UN Security Council? What are the chances for reform of the UN Security Council? What are the chances for an EU seat at the UN Security Council?

Keywords: UN Security Council, membership, reform, regionalism, EU seat
