Download and installation

Praat is freely available from its creators Paul Boersma and David Weenink. The Praat website can be found here:

http://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/praat/

Different versions are provided for MacOS, Windows, Linux, and some other operating systems.

Praat does not need to be installed. Just save the file in a folder of your choice and start the software by double-clicking on the file.
