Keyword list (1/3)
This tool allows you to compare unsually (in)frequent words ("keywords") in your target corpus vis-à-vis their occurrence in a "reference corpus". In other words, you can compare how often words occur in two different corpora or two sets of different files.
- Load your file(s): this is your target corpus

- In the keyword list view go to: Tool Preferences > Keyword List
- Set the options for the target corpus
- "Keyness Value": select a statistical measure of keyness of for the generation of keywords. The default setting Log Likelihood is recommended
- "Threshold Value": select a threshhold for the number of keywords to be displayed
- Check "Show negative keywords" if words of unusually low frequency should be displayed

- Reference Corpus
- Check “Use raw file(s)”
- Use Add Directory or Add Files to load your reference corpus or files
- Load your reference corpus by clicking on Load
- Click Apply to save the options and return to the keyword list view

- Generate your keyword list by clicking Start
